CUSTARD DANISH
250g butter
250ml sour cream
2 cups cake flour
Method:
Grate the butter into the flour and mix gently to coat the butter.
Add the sour cream and mix to a nice smooth dough.

LINDA’S GINGER BISCUITS AND HOMEMADE GOLDEN SYRUP
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups syrup
10 ml vinegar
8 cups self raising flour
250 gr margarine
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon bicarb of soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon cream of tartar

FREEZER BISCUITS WITH VARIATION
250 g butter
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
Cream sugar and butter together. Mix eggs, salt and vanilla together and add to mixture. Mix well. Sift 2 cups of flour, add to mixture and mix.
Divide mixture in two and add as much or as little cherries (250 g) 0n to one half and cinnamon (3 tablespoons) to the other half. Mix till well combined.
Sift again 1 cups of flour with 1 teaspoon baking powder in each mix, and knead well.
Form in a roll wrap in cling wrap and freeze.
You can also use choc chip or any spices and fruit as desire

NOELENE’S BISCUITS OR SHORTBREAD WITH VARIATIONS
1 cup of flour
1 cup of maizena (corn flour)
1/2 cup of icing sugar
225-250g of butter or Stork or Rama original margarine
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Cut the butter up into small pieces and add to the mixture. Rub the butter in with your fingers to make a soft dough.
If the dough is too soft, You can add a bit of icing sugar or corn flour. Roll into little balls and place on a greased baking tray. (Or press all the mixrure into an oven tray and cut into squares while hot). Continue reading

Hierdie is een van my gunsteling resepte. Ek weet daar is baie van die resepte op die internet maar hierdie een is die BESTE. Baie hier in Ierland het my al gesmeek om die resep te gee maar wou nooit dit deel nie want dis my eie resep wat ek oor die jare volmaak het. Dis die maklikste ding om te maak maar waar die geheim in kom, is in die mates en manier. Probeer dit en laat weet.
600 g Nuttikrust (Die beste is die wat hawer en klapper in het) ***
300 g 50% donker sjokolade
200 g melk sjokolade
350 g botter (nie margarien nie)***
100g goue stroop (sit blikkie of botteljie in warm water. Dis beter om mee te werk)***
