COFFEE SYRUP
Home made coffee syrup is quick and easy and useful for a wide range of recipes, ie sauces, baking, coffee, etc
2 tablespoons ground coffee
2 cups of water
½ cup sugar
Brew the coffee with all the water.
Place the brewed coffee in a saucepan with the sugar and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 to 20 minutes or until reduced to a syrup.
