Boil 6 potatoes till almost soft. Add 1kg mince, salt pepper and mixed spice to taste. When meat is cooked but not yet dry, mix it with the potatoes to a rough mash, leave in fridge to cool.
Pastry:
4 cups self raising flour,
1/2 cup oil,
pinch salt,
1 cup warm water mixed with 1 beaten egg.
Mix all ingredients together and knead well. Roll into small balls and then roll out with a rolling pin, Add meat seal and fry, they freeze well when cold.
