The Ingredients:
1 package (7 oz) spaghetti
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen organic diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (19 oz) Progress red kidney beans, undrained
1 can (8 oz) Muir Gle organic tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (5 oz)
Steps for preparation:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package specified directions.
2. Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, over medium heat, cook beef and onion , stirring from time to time, till onion is tender and beef is brown ; drain.
3. Stir in tomatoes, chili powder, beans, tomato sauce and salt.
4. over medium heat , Cook uncovered about 10 mins, stirring from time to time, until as thick as you’d like.
5. Drain spaghetti; divide among dinner plates. Top with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese.
