NOT SAMOOSAS TRIANGLES
2 steaks (approx. 400 g) sliced very thin
1 onion, diced
1 capsicum sliced thin and diced
15 ml fresh garlic
salt and pepper and other burny spices if you like it
10 Tortillas, cut in halves
20 pieces of cheese cut in triangles to fit 1/3 of tortilla half with slight margin
30 ml flour
30 ml water
oil for frying
Fry the meat and remove, fry onion, garlic and capsicum, add together and season. Set aside.
Mix flour and water to a paste (this is the glue). Use one tortilla half, add a piece of cheese in the middle, brush so that you have equal space at the sides.
Brush “glue” mix on one half of the straight edge and fold onglued side over, then the other side. Press. You now have a pocket.
Fill pocket to about 1 cm from the top, brush with glue mix, press edge flat with fingers until well sealed. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and serve with aoli dipping sauce or sauce of choice. (Big Mac sauce goes well with it).
Variation: Dip in egg and flour or crumbs before frying.
ALTERNATIVES:
Fill with any filling of choice below:
