SEEDED BEER BREAD
4 x 250ml Cake Flour
15ml Baking Powder
10ml Salt
5ml Mustard Powder
45ml Chopped Chives
500ml Grated Cheddar Cheese
50gr Feta Cheese, crumbled
45ml Mixed Toasted Seeds
150ml Buttermilk
1 Extra-Large Egg
340ml Beer
Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and mustard powder into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the chives, cheeses and seeds. In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk and egg. Add this to the dry ingredients along with the beer. Mix well to form a stiff batter. Spoon the mixture into a 13 x 23 cm loaf pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 deg.cel. for 50 – 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
