SIPHOKAZI’S NUTELLABON
INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
10 Tbsp butter softened
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups Nutella
METHOD
Combine yeast , 1 tsp sugar and half a cup warm water in a bowl
Leave for 10 minutes until foamy
In a saucepan bring milk ,sugar , salt and butter to a boil, set aside to cool.Add to the yeast mixture along with the eggs , vanilla and flour and mix to form a dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead until smooth
Place in a clean bowl, cover with the clean cloth , leave on a warm place to rise for an hour
Heat oven to 180 degrees C
Transfer dough onto a floured work surface and roll into a rectangle
Spread the Nutella evenly and leaving a border on one long side
Roll the dough into a log and brush the end with water or egg wash to seal
Cut into rounds and place on a greased baking tray
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked
