BUTTERMILK AND CHEDDAR BREAD
1 packet 500 g self raising flour
250 ml cheddar cheese, grated
30 ml rosemary, chopped
5 ml salt
5 ml freshly ground black pepper
1 carton 500 ml buttermilk
Preheat the oven to 190 C. Place all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the buttermilk and mix well with a wooden spoon. Spoon the mixture into a 21 x 11 cm bread tin that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
