SABRINA’S VANILLA CAKE
21/4 cup flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1/3 tsp salt
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
6 TBS unsalted butter I added 120gr
2TBS oil
1 TBS vanilla essence
2 large eggs
Preheat oven 160 deg
In bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda salt.
In saucepan over med/high heat combine water and sugar until melted remove from heat and add butter stir until melted. Leave to cool completely then whisk in oil, vanilla and beat in eggs.
Whisk into dry ingredients until smooth (it is a runny mixture but don’t add all the water as I found it was too runny). Divide batter into two pans and bake.
Bake for 20/30 mins
Vanilla icing buttercream
1 cup unsalted butter
3 cups icing sugar
1 TBS vanilla
2 or 3 tsp milk
Cream butter until fluffy add 1 cup icing sugar at a time add vanilla and then your milk I only added 2 TBS beat for 3 mins.
