SA EEDA’S FLAPJACKS
Aaaaaand spoiling my minions is on top of the list for the holidays…. and they love Flapjacks
My recipe (don’t know where it comes from, but my mother has been making these since I was a youngen)

¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon melted butter

Whisk together sugar and egg with vanilla essence, add dry ingredients with milk and melted butter.
I fry without oil, about tablespoon full. Flip when bubbles appear.
We enjoy with syrup (golden, caramel and maple) or our freshly made homemade strawberry jam
