Ek het ‘n resep vir Jam Buttons:
3/4 cup butter,
3/4 cup caster sugar,
2 cups flour,
1 beaten egg
& finely grated rind of one lemon.
Rub together butter and flour. Stir in sugar and lemon rind. Bind to a manageable dough with egg. Shape into walnut size balls. Make a hole in the centre with thumb and fill with jam. Bake at 180*C for 15 minutes.
