

BANANA BREAD WITH BUTTERMILK
3 large bananas or 4 small ones, cut up
125 g butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
½ cup of buttermilk
2 cups of flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat some more.
Add cut up bananas and buttermilk and blend till smooth.
Lastly add sifted dry ingredients.
Bake at 180 °C for 45 minutes.
N.B. I baked 2 loaves, so I doubled the recipe.
