SHAMIEMA’S VETBROODJIES (VETKOEK)
4 cups cake flour
1 pkt (10 g) instant yeast
1 big or 2 small patatoes, mashed
2 tsp sugar
1 ½ tsp fine salt
2 cups lukewarm water
Mix to a soft dough.
Rise for ± 1 hour.
Punch dough and make a long sausage roll and cut it in round balls.
Rise again on lil oil surface.
Fry in oil until golden brown.
