MOZZARELLA CHEESE STUFFED MEATBALLS IN TOMATO SAUCE
mozzarella cheese – I used pre portioned mozzarella bites
In a large mixing bowl combine:
1 pound ground beef
1 pound Italian sausage- I used sweet
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup bread crumbs- Italian seasoned
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup chopped parsley,- Italian parsley
Roll golf ball sized balls with the meat mixture. Squish mozzarella portion into the center and pull the edges of the meat ball around it until it’s a new ball again.

Arrange meatballs in slow cooker and cover in tomato sauce. For sauce I used a American spaghetti traditional type sauce about one and a half jars. Enough to cover meatballs.
All the goodies being layered in the slow cooker – Sauce- meatballs-sauce- meatballs until pot is full

Cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours. (My slow cooker took around 4 hours so this will vary for some).
