CHICKEN AND BACON PIE
170g puff pastry
500 g cooked cubed chicken
4 diced bacon
120 g mushroom
5 tbsp flour
5 tbsp butter
300 ml milk
Salt & pepper
1) heat 1/2 butter in pan and saute bacon & mushrooms (3min)
2) heat rest of butter stir in flour till smooth
3) stir in milk & season, bring to boil & cook till thick
4) add chicken, bacon and mushrooms. Let cool!
5) place filling in 200mm pie plate
6) roll pastry out to fit over plate on top of filling
7) brush crust with milk/egg
8) bake at 200’c for 35min
