I use a regular cake recipe .. Chocolate, vanilla, red velvet … Then I crumb the cake, then add icing. Enough so I can make a ball with it.
Then I roll into balls and freeze them.
When they’re frozen, I dip the stick in chocolate then into the ball, so it doesn’t slide down the stick. Then dip the whole thing in chocolate. You have to decorate quickly, because the chocolate hardens fast.
