ELIZE SE SOUSBONE
1 can Butter beans, I woud not use beans in tomato sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour (to thicken sauce)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
250 ml water
White pepper to taste
Mix sugar,vinegar, salt and pepper with water to make a sauce bring to the boil, thicken with cornflour, add can of beans and heat throught about 3 minutes.

1 blik botterbone
1 eetlepel mielieblom ( maizina) om mee te verdik
1 eetlepel suiker
1 eetlepel asyn
1/2 teelepel sout
Wit peper na smaak
250 ml water
Meng die suiker, asyn, sout en peper met water om ‘n sous te maak en bring tot kookpunt. Maak dikker met die mielieblom, voeg die bone by en verhit omtrent 3 minute.
