SOUTHERN BUTTERMILK PIE. – KARRINGMELK TERT
Ek hou nie van neut nie, het dit vervang met kaneel. Die suiker het ek dieselfde hoeveelheid gehou, anders is dit te soet.
Het ook die resep verdubbel vir die foelie tertbord.
½ cup buttermilk
1 ¾ cup sugar
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons cake flour
pinch of salt
125 g butter melted
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 200 ºC. Mix everything together and pour into an unbaked 9″ pieshell. Sprinkle the top lightly with nutmeg. Bake 15 min. Reduce oven to 180ºC and bake 45 min. Cool to allow filling to set.
