BEST CRUNCHIE RECIPE EVER
Oven at 180°C.
Mix together:
3 cups coconut
1 cup flour
4 cups rolled oats
1 ½ cups sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Melt in a pot on the stove:
1 cup butter (227 g)
3 Tablespoons syrup or honey
Add :
Add 2 teaspoons bicarbonate dissolved in 4 Tablespoons milk.
Once mixed through, add to the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon.
Press into a greased baking sheet.
Important that this is rolled to about 1/3 inch deep – so that they cook through (I roll out and flatten with a rolling pin).
Bake for approx 15 min. Cut and cool.
