2 Cups Flour
4 TSP Baking Powder
1 TBSP Sugar
½ TSP Salt…
2 Eggs, Seperated
1 Cup Milk
2 Cups Canned Corn
½ Cup Melted Butter
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Beat the egg yolks and add milk.
Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients. And the corn and melted butter. **
Beat the egg whiltes until stiff and fold into the batter.
Preheat the waffle iron. Add the batter and bake for 1 minute. Turn off power and leave for a further 2 minutes. Baking times will vary with waffle irons.
I added some dried parsley and dried chilli flakes to the mixture and also a ½ cup of grated cheese.
