HONEY CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE GANACHE
Serves 8-10
Ingredients:
125g semi-sweet chocolate, roughly chopped
Half cup butter plus 1 tablespoon butter
4 Large Eggs
1/3 cup runny hunny
3/4 cup milk(180ml)
1 cup sugar
Half a cup Cocoa Powder
1 and a Half cup Flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
Half Teaspoon baking soda
Ganaché Ingredients
300g semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup cream
Method:
1. Turn oven to 180 Degree Celsius
2. Line 2 cake tins with baking paper and spray cook and spray on the baking paper
3. Add the chocolate and butter in an microwave safe dish and let the butter and chocolate melt on between 90-120 seconds
4. Add the eggs one at a time
5. Add the milk, sugar and honey, mix until just combine
6. Sift the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and baking soda, mix until just combined
7. Put the mixture in the baking tins and bake for 45-50min
8. After the cake layers has been baked, put it out of the oven and let cool for 15min
9. After the cake layers has been cooled put the 300g dark chocolate and cup of cream in a saucepan on low heat and let the chocolate melt after it is a smooth mixture let it cool and set and put it over the layers of cake after you stacked the cake with two layers on each one put Ganaché over
10. Serve immediately with cream and enjoy!
11. You can put anything between the two layers
