I basically brown my meat(shin bone-in and short rib) with onion and a little bit of garlic. I then add my water and grated veggies and chopped leeks and celery and parsley. Season well, add my 4in1 soup mix and plenty of marrow bones. Let it cook for about 6 hours. About a half an hour before its finished I add broken spaghetti to thicken it a bit. Wholesome meal for a cold winter eve with toast, bread or croutons.
