YASMEEN’S MINI PIZZA’S
I was making pizzas for iftaar (breaking of the fast) today and just thought of sharing my simple pizza dough recipe. It’s very easy and yields either 3 large pizzas or around 4 trays of mini pizzas as I have done. So easy to make and freezer friendly. They can be baked straight out of the freezer, saving you time.
For the dough:-
1 sachet yeast
2 1/2 Tblsp of sugar
2 cups of lukewarm water
1 tsp of salt
3 Tablespoons of olive oil
5 cups of cake flour
In a large dish mix the yeast and sugar.
Add like warm water and olive oil to the mix.
Thereafter add salt and cake flour.
Dough simply with your hands and leave in an oiled dish to rest for about 2 hours.
Roll out to form your pizza’s.
Add any topping as per your preference.
I made a chicken and green pepper topping and put on some mozzarella cheese .
Bake the pizza at 200°C for 12 to 15 minutes.
* N.B. These are not baked yet😄. Will do so at time of breaking fast.
