SHARON’S COKE CHICKEN
Only 3 ingredients:
coke
Illovo Golden syrup
chicken
no salt, no spices

Trust me on this one.
A delicious coke chicken is the following. Coat chicken pieces in good dose of Illovo Golden syrup – it MUST be illovo Golden syrup!!! that is the secret to the recipe.
Then place the chicken pieces in a pot and pour Coke over, it must be the real Coca Cola, it must cover the chicken, you must not see the chicken pieces.
Then turn your stove on high, do not cover the pot. Wait until most of the coke has cooked away, leave a little bit of the liquid and use as a gravy, serve on rice.
Please note you must keep a eye on your pot, as you do not want burnt offerings.
It is a favorite dish and everyone that I have made it for loves it.
