VETKOEK FIT FOR THE QUEEN
3 cups cake flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
7 g instant yeast
½ – 1 cup warm water
1½ litres sunflower oil
Sif the flour into a bowl, add sugar, salt and yeast. Stir well to combine.
Make a well in the center and pour in warm water. Mix together to form smooth, stiff dough.
Knead for 5 minute, place in a well oiled bowl and allow to prove for about 30 minutes or until double.
Knead dough for 1 minute. Roll golf – ball size ( ek het myne uitgedruk en gesny in blokke ) and deep fry until golden.

Ander foto’s: Rina Kleinhans…. hierdie resep maak 7 groot vetkoeke en ongeveer 10 kleintjies, ek het ‘n eetlepel olie en ‘n eetlepel asyn in my deeg gesit. Sout minder gemaak na 1.5 teelepels.
