DANA’S CHOCOLATE CAKE

DANA’S CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
2/3 cup cocoa
8 tablespoons butter or margarine ( melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Mix all together start with eggs and sugar, then everything else. Bake for +- 50-60 minutes @ 180ºC.

For the ganache
I broke one block of chocolate into a microwave safe bowl.. added about four tablespoons of milk and put it in the microwave for two minutes taking it out at 20 second intervals to stir, make sure you don’t put it in to long. It will look like it’s not coming together but will.. then pour over the cake and decorate to your liking..
