Braai die spek, sampioene en ontbytwors in’n”Teflon”- pan van ongeveer 43 cm in deursnee.
As alles gaar is maar dit gelyk in die pan.
Gooi nou die 12 geklitste eiers eweredig in die pan. Maak gaar oor lae hitte.
Wanneer die eiers amper gaar is, strooi gerasperde kaas bo-oor en los tot die kaas gesmelt is.
Sny in pizzaskywe en bedien.
(By hierdie pizza kan byna enigiets bygevoeg word na smaak)

NOTA:  Indien verkies kan mens gekoop pizza base onder sit en dan die eiers roereier maak en alles op die “base” skep,  stip met mayonnaise en in die oond bak  by 200 Grade C tot alles lekker gesmelt is en die base gaar.. ongeveer 15 min.

BESTANDELE
4 middelslag uie in dun skyfies gsny
70g meelblom
120g mieliemeel
5ml sout
5ml mostertpoeier
7ml bakpoeier
250ml melk
250ml water
EIERS, TAMATIES EN SPEK OM MEE TE BEDIEN
Metode:
Soteer die uie en hou dit warm. Sif die meel, mieliemeel, sout, bakpoeier en mosterpoeier saam. Gooi die melk en water stadig by die droë bestandele en meng dit tot ‘n gladde deeg. Gooi die uie in die mengsel. Laat die beslag ‘n paar minute staan. Verhit ‘n bietjie olie in’n groot braaipan. Braai groot eetlepels vol van die deeg in die olie. Keer die poffertjies om as die blasies bars en die onderkant goudbruin is, braai die anderkant. Sit voor sam met eiers, tamatie en spek.

Hierdie skommeldrankie is gemaak deur Lainy Carpenter, eienaar van die Whalesong Lodge in De Kelders. Dit was tydens ‘n Pasella kuier waar ons die konsep -rou kos- ondersoek het. Indien enige van die bestandele vir jou onbekend is, gaan doen navraag by jou naaste gesondheidswinkel.

BESTANDELE
2 piesangs
1 k amandelmelk
3 e sade, oornag geweek in water
4 e neute, oornag geweek in water
8 dadels
3 e kakaostukkies
1 e hemppoeier
1 e macapoeier

METODE
Plaas al die bestanddele in versapper en meng tot glad. Voeg meer melk of selfs water by as dit nie vloeibaar genoeg is nie.

HAM FEATHERBEDS
Yield: 4-6 servings
6 slices buttered bread
Six bread-sized slices of ham
1 1/2 cups milk
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups applesauce

Butter a baking dish and place the bread in the dish in one single layer.
Place a slice of ham on each piece of bread.
Whisk the eggs and milk together in a bowl and pour evenly over the bread and ham.
Cover the baking dish and refrigerate overnight (or for at least six hours).
Before baking, pre-heat oven to 180 ºC. Spread about 1/4 cup of applesauce on top of each bread/ham section.
Bake for about one hour or until the featherbed is golden brown and a little puffed up.

Ingredients
100 g Sasko Self Raising Flour
5 ml salt
1 x 410 g can whole kernel corn, drained
2.5 ml cayenne pepper
4 spring onions, finely sliced
1 extra large egg
100 ml milk
oil for frying
Method
In a large mixing bowl sift the flour and salt together, add the corn, cayenne pepper and spring onions.
In a jug combine the egg and the milk. Add to dry ingredients and mix till you have a batter.
Preheat oil in pan enough to shallow fry the fritters.
Drop spoonfuls of mixture into pan and cook until golden brown on one side, turn and fry on the other side.
Drain on absorbent paper towel.
Good for breakfast, brunch or served as a side dish for dinner.

METODE
Neem 4 mikrogolf-bestand bakkies wat min of meer dieselfde grootte het as ‘n diep, ronde koppie. Of ‘n muffin-pannetjie vir die mikrogolfoond werk net so goed. Spuit met Spray ‘n Cook.
Druk die spek vas aan die rand van die bakkie. Gooi bietjie gerasperde kaas onder in. Breek ‘n eier oop op kaas en prik eiergeel met tandestokkie. Plaas ‘n stukkie gaar spek (fyn stukkies) bo-op eier. Sit ‘n tamatieskyfie, gegeur met sout en peper bo-op spek en bedek weer met bietjie kaas. Plaas in mikrogolfoond vir 4 minute op Medium. Maak solank 4 snytjies roosterbrood. Plaas elke nessie op bord en bedien met roosterbrood van varsgebakte plaasbrood.

Wat lekker is, is dat die roosterbrood en ontbyt gelyktydig warm is!

Het hom toe gemaak HEERLIK sal dit weer maak, sal lekker wees saam pap of pasta ook.

1 big onion
1 packet (250) of bacon
1 packet of sausages (any kind)
1 tin of tomato and onion sauce
250 ml water
2 tablespoons chutney
6 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry the onion in a black pot over an open fire until brown.
Add the bacon and sausages and fry until they’re cooked.
Now add the tomato and onion sauce and the chutney and stir.
Add salt, pepper and water.
Let it simmer for about half an hour.
Make holes in the potjie with a spoon and add the whole eggs without stirring.
Let it simmer until the eggs are cooked.
Scoop out each egg individually with some of the breakfast.

HOMEMADE GRANOLA MADE EASY
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup mixed nuts and seeds (almonds and cashews were used)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of honey
1/2 cup dried fruit

Preheat oven to 150 ºC
Place 9 x 13 inch roasting pan over 2 burners at medium-low heat.
Add oats and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to brown and become fragrant (about 3-5 minutes).
Add the nuts and seeds and continue to cook for another 2 minutes stirring frequently.
If using it, add coconut and cook, stirring, for another 2 minutes.
Add cinnamon and sweetener and stir to coat. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once or twice while baking.
Add the dried fruit after granola is done baking and place pan on a wire rack to cool.
Be sure to stir the granola every so often to break it up as it cools.
Transfer granola to a sealed container and store in cupboard or refrigerator.
