Om koek te bak is lekker. Vandag deel ek met jou ‘n lekker gewone sponskoek resep en die outjie kan jy versier nes jy verkies!
Ek gebruik een-en-drie-kwart koppies meel en vul dit aan tot twee koppies met kakao.
Sif saam:
2 koppies meel
4 teelepels bakpoeier
knippie sout

Vanmiddag die heerlikste vetkoeke gebak. Bedien met maalvleis, kaas, tamatie, konfyt en kaas! Net reg vir rugby en lekker smul voor TV! Aldus Marie.
400 ml louwarm water
15 ml suiker
15 ml olyfolie
7,5 ml sout
1 pakkie kitsgis
3 koppies koekmeel of broodmeel
Knie met elektriese klitser met deeglemme vir omtrent sewe minute of met hande vir 10 minute. Laat rys tot die deeg verdubbel het in grootte. Knie af en rol in worsvorm, druk plat en sny vetkoeke in lengtes so groot soos verkies. Laat weer rys vir sowat 20 minute en bak in warm olie tot goudbruin!

4 x groot eiers, geskei
bietjie meer as ½, maar minder as ¾ koppie suiker
4 eetlepels koue water
1 koppie koekmeel
3 teelepels bakpoeier
Voorverhit oond tot 180 °C. Klits eierwitte styf, hou eenkant. Klits eiergele,water en suiker tot wit en skuimerrig, vou meel en bakpoeier in eiergeel mengsel. Vou eierwitte in. Bespuit ‘n rolkoek pan met kleefwerende sproei, bedek met bakpapier en bespuit weer met kleefwerende sproei (ek gebruik my panne waarin ek my koekies bak). Bak vir ± 20 minute , Keer versigtig uit op ‘n klam doek wat liggies gestrooi is met suiker, smeer konfyt van keuse en rol versigtig op.

Vir die stampmielie-liefhebbers hierdie is nie ‘n gebak nie, net n lekker eenpot-aandete. Gemaak met oorskietstampmielies (of twee blikkies stampmielies indien dit beskikbaar is!) Ek kan hierdie resep aanbeveel – en omdat Angie vir my die resep gegee het, is dit Angie se stampmielie-en-maalvleisgereg. Sit dit voor met ‘n slaai en/of knoffelbrood.

950 ml vanielje joghurt
½ koppie grondboontjiebotter
Smelt grondboontjiebotter in mikrogolf.
Meng met joghurt.
Skep lepels vol in kolwyntjie papierbakkies en vries.
OF
Vries in ybakkies met ‘n beeno-koekie in wat dien as “stokkie”.

HOME MADE DOG TREATS
2 tablespoons of your favorite cooking oil
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup filtered water
3 cups flour
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl – I like to use my hands because it’s pretty thick.
Grease a cookie sheet (we used olive oil) and “smush” the dough onto the sheet. Cut dough into desired shapes before baking.
I use cookie cutters for treats I plan to give away, but just a pizza cutter for our dogs. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 °C, cool, break apart and serve!
I also freeze them in separate batches (a weeks worth) so the treats stay fresh longer.

Remember Juicy Lucy and the Cheezas they used to serve? Elsabie Templeton remade them with dark rye bread, mozzarella, cheddar, mayonnaise and onion with smoked paprika for lunch.

1 cup each grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese
± 3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise to keep the cheese together
1 small onion chopped or spring onion of equal quantity

TRACY’S SAUSAGE ROLLS
TRACY’S SAUSAGE ROLLS
My first attempt at sausage rolls. I made meatballs with the leftover mince mixture.
500 g beef mince
500 g pork mince
1 onion, grated
1 carrot, grated
1 zucchini, grated
1 egg
1 cup rolled oats
salt and pepper to taste (I used garlic and herb salt, therefore I did not add as much salt to my meat, but you can use any spice you like)
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
4 sheets of shop puff pastry, cut in halves
Spread the halved pastry rolls and roll to size. Mix all the other ingredients together. Spread raw onto pastry according to required quantity. Roll up the pastry rolls (do not cut the rolls). Bake for ± 35-45 minutes at 200 °C or until light golden brown. Let cool slightly and cut into cocktail sizes.

Chicken schnitzels with homemade cheese sauce, roasted baby potatoes butternut and baby marrow in garlic and brown onion soup powder. Delicious and so simple! Use either prepared schnitzels bought from grocer or prepare your own.
Chicken
4 – 6 prepared schnitzels OR
Own schnitzels (slightly beaten):
2 eggs, whisked for dipping
flour, for dipping
bread crumbs or cornflakes crumbs, for dipping
