YASMEEN’S ROMANY CREAMS
250 g butter
½ c oil
¾ c sugar
1 t vanilla essence
¼ t bicarbonate of soda
2 t baking powder
2 T cocoa powder
2 ½ c flour
Cream butter, sugar, oil, vanilla essence and eggs together. Add bicarbonate soda, cocoa powder and baking powder and mix. Finally add flour to form a soft dough.
Flatten the dough with a rolling pin and cut out circles using a cookie cutter. Use a fork to shape the lines on the back of the biscuit.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 15 to 20 minutes.
Note: Flour can be less or more and to make a soft dough.
Put the cookies together with melted baking chocolate.
