Rhubarb Sauce (Rabarberkräm)
I got this recipe from my neighbor here in Finland.
5 stems of rhubarb (or more if you only have short stems)
½ L water
100 ml sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
100 ml raisins
Cut up the rhubarb and boil all the ingredients together for 10 minutes.
¾ L water
4 tbsp potato flour/corn starch
Add the water and potato flour/corn starch to the mixture and boil until preferred consistency.
Serve with ice cream, porridge etc. Or eat it just like that.
My father in law loves this. I am very happy that he approved my effort.
