BUTTER MEATBALLS WITH OATS
500 g beef mince
2 bread buns, turned into bread crumbs by a food processor or store bought bread crumbs
1 ½ cups of oats
2 onions, finely chopped
1 tomato, chopped
5 ml soya sauce
5 ml sunflower oil
20 ml tomato sauce
20 ml chutney sauce
coarse salt and pepper, to taste
herbs and spices, to taste
paprika spice, to taste
BBQ Spice, to taste
1 small teaspoon of butter on each meatball
little bit of boiling water put on top of each meatball
In a mixing owl add the mince, eggs, oats, onions, the tomato, soya sauce, sunflower oil, tomato sauce, chutney sauce and salt and pepper and all the spices and mix well.
Roll each meatball into a medium size ball and roll into the breadcrumbs.
Place each meatball in a rectangular oven pan that has been sprayed with spray and cook.
After the meatballs has been placed in the rectangular oven pan, place a small teaspoon of butter on each meatball.
Take the boiling water and put on top of each meatball. Makes 16 medium sized meatballs.
Cover with tinfoil.
Place the meatballs in the oven for 1 hour on 180°C.
After 1 hour remove from the oven and let cool for about 10-15 min.
