ANITA’S GINGER BISCUITS
GINGER BISCUITS
8c Flour (Can add more flour if dough not stiff enough)
Pinch of Salt
2T Ginger (30ml)
4 Jumbo Eggs
1c Golden Syrup
2T Warm Milk (30ml)
4c Sugar
1pkt Bi-Carb
1pkt Cream of Tartar
1. Cream Sugar & Butter
2. Beat Eggs & add, mix well
3. Add 1c Syrup & mix well
4. Warm the milk (don’t boil) & add the Bi-Carb to the milk, stir
5. Add milk mixture to the above & mix in
6. Add the flour, Ginger, Salt & Cream of Tarter & mix well.
7. Let stand for about 20 – 30 mins
8. Make round balls & place on a greased baking sheet.
9. Press balls with a fork or back of spoon to flatten just a little.
10. Bake at 180C for 10 – 12 mins.
