SONES VANILLA CAKE
INGREDIENTS
3cups flour
10ml salt
25ml baking powder
200ml canola oil
200ml luke warm water
8eggs
2cups sugar
METHOD
Whisk eggs till light and fluffy.
Sift dry ingredients.
Mix water and oil.
Add the dry ingredients and oil and water mixture alternatively to the whipped egg and sugar mixture!
Do not over mix!
Bake in 2x20cm cake tins @ 180°C for one hour!
(I use this recipe for all my vanilla cakes)
Buttercream icing:
6cups confectionery sugar
500g margarine/butter
Caramel/vanilla essence
