ALMOND AND LEMON FLORENTINES
3 egg whites,
140 g icing sugar (ek gebruik strooisuiker)
400 g flaked almonds
Grated zest and juice of 2 oranges (ek gebruik baie meer en meng suurlemoen en lemoen)
Preheat oven to 150C. Line baking tray with silicone paper + spray n cook – it sticks like mad
Mix all the ingredients together BY HAND. Using a wet hand, make little mounds of the mixture on the tray, spaced well apart. Flatten each biscuit until very thin. Place in oven and bake for about 12 min. until they are golden brown. Leave to cool and harden before removing them from the tray.
