CHICKEN BIRYANI-BRIYANI
1kg chicken cubed
500g basmati rice
3 onions chopped
8 garlic cloves grated
1 big piece ginger grated
6-8 potatoes cubed
3 tbsp masala
1tsp chilli
1tbsp tumeric
1tbsp Salt
Oil (frying potatoes)
Cinnamon stick
Cardomon
Fry potatoes in oil (set aside)
Cook rice & tumeric 10 min
Fry meat, onions then add garlic and ginger
Add a cup of water & cook till water is cooked away
Add spices braise for 5min
Add 1&1/2 cup hot water cook till meat is tender
Add 1/2 cup water, rice & potatoes
Cook on low heat 20 min stir cook another 10 min!
Close pot for 30 min off the heat! Then serve!!!
