HANDY BEEF MIX
This quick-and-easy mix can be used to make an assortment of beef recipes.
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup 2% milk
3 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon pepper
4 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
Divide into four portions; place in freezer containers. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before using. Yield: 4 servings.
