MOROCCAN CHICKEN SKEWER
1/2 t ground ginger
2 t paprika
1/2 t turmeric
A few strands saffron
2 garlic gloves, crushed
3 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
1 1/2tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2tbsp olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
700 g Chicken breast cut in 2cm cubes
6-8 lemons cut into chunks
Combine the ginger, paprika, turmaric, saffron, garlic, coriander, lemon juice and olive oil in a bowl
Season with salt and pepper
Add the chicken and mix well
Cover and leave to marinate
Preheat the grill / heat griddle pan over medium heat
Thread the chicken and lemons onto skewers and grill until cooked.
Ek het nie die suurlemoene op die stokkie gesit nie, net die sap uitgedruk as deel van my marinade, wat ek oornag laat staan het
Ek het dit opgedien saam met Moroccan gegeurde cous cous en Tzatziki.
