750ml Self Raising Flour,
pinch of salt.
75 gram packet white onion soup powder,
125ml grated cheese,
1 small onion cut into rings.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C, and grease medium loaf tin.
Sift the flour and salt together. Stir in the packet of soup and grated cheese.
Pour in the buttermilk and mix well. Spoon mixture into prepared bread tin.
Top with sliced onion rings. Bake for 40 minutes to an hour, make braai bread as well cut thick slices over medium coals, serve with butter and a dollop of chutney or tomatoe salsa, and enjoy.
